Kool Paws Mobility and Service Dog Training

A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization

Full-Term Service Dog Training

Our Mission

Kool Paws Mobility and Service Dog Training, A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, is dedicated to empowering individuals with physical disabilities and mobility challenges by raising, training, and placing highly skilled service dogs to foster lasting independence, confidence, and safety.

Sponsor a Service Dog Team

Transform a life directly by funding the 18 to 24-month journey of a mobility service dog, covering specialized gear, veterinary care, and advanced task training. Your tax-deductible sponsorship bridges the gap between high training costs and clients ready to gain their independence.

Client Scholarship Opportunities

Because financial limitations should never prevent access to vital assistance, our scholarship fund subsidizes placement costs and ongoing team support for qualified recipients. Through generous community donations, we ensure life-changing service dogs are paired with individuals based on need, not financial ability.

Custom Tasking

Every skill is trained specifically to your individual needs — from opening doors and picking up objects to full public access training. Your program is fully customized to you.

Expert Sourcing

We work together to find the right dog for the job. Finding the perfect match between handler and dog is a key part of a successful service dog partnership.

Full-Term Training

Comprehensive support from start to finish with our fully customized 2 to 2.5-year program. We partner with you every step of the way, from hand-selecting your dog to mastering every skill.

How It Works

We offer a fully customized 2 to 2.5-year program focused on the specific tasks you require for independence. From hand-selecting your dog to mastering skills like opening doors, we partner with you every step of the way.

Our program starts with a consultation to understand your specific needs and daily challenges. From there, we develop a personalized training plan that covers the task work most important to you. Whether you already have a dog or need help selecting the right candidate, we guide you through every step of the process.

Task Work We Train

Service dogs can be trained to perform a wide range of tasks tailored to your individual needs, including:

Opening and closing doors
Picking up dropped objects
Retrieving items (medication, phone, keys)
Light switch operation
Mobility and balance support
Alert tasks
Full public access behavior and etiquette
And more — we train to your specific needs

Flexible Investment

We believe service dog training should be accessible. We offer flexible payment plans and monthly payment options to fit your budget.
